Greylisting - what and why

Greylisting is a process where our e-mail server temporarily restricts another e-mail server from delivering e-mails to our mailboxes. This is not a permanent block and is an automated process based on suspicious behaviour. Generally with greylisting the sending server is given a retry try time after which they may reattempt delivery of the e-mail.

An e-mail which is greylisted is not bounced or permanently rejected and typically delivery is retried after several hours and is then successful.

If you suspect someone is trying to send you an e-mail but it is not arriving they might have been greylisted. You can send us a support message and we can check this for you. Please include the sender's full e-mail address and the approximate time they sent the e-mail as well as your e-mail address to which they sent it.
